Our clients need your help!
The financial impact to Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired of no face-to-face contact due to the COVID virus is overwhelming. Months of “virtual and remote” operations will cause an extensive financial burden, as 90% of our programs and services to clients are delivered in face-to-face sessions.
Vista Center’s response to this crisis, is a Board supported commitment to serve our community, regardless of the negative financial impact. Our staff has rapidly adjusted service delivery, content, and training methodology by leveraging technology tools, so that we can continue to provide services to our 3,300 vulnerable clients. Isolation, depression, exaggerated anxiety, and heightened fear, are growing mental health issues surfacing for visually impaired individuals in the chaos of uncertain times. We are hoping that community members can help us, while we are losing money….
We have established a Vista Center – COVID Help Fund – we have raised $4400. Click here: Vista Center – COVID Help* Or paste into your browser: https://charity.gofundme.com/o/en/campaign/covid19-helpsupportvistacenter·
Donate $10 or more, if you can – every $ help us get closer to our $25,000 goalIn the end of the donation process, there is an option to “share” the campaign with your Facebook friends – hoping you can just simply say in your message: * “I donated $10 to this dedicated nonprofit, led by a colleague/friend, and am sharing the link, as I know we all want to help all vulnerable people (blind/visually impaired) during this virus crisis”.·
Will you forward this email to friends, who will help? In gratitude, Karae M. Lisle
