The LCIF Board met in June and approved our grant request for matching funds for the Pediavision screening devices. We will soon have enough funds to purchase four devices. With the four devices we should be able to quickly and efficiently screen more people in less time with better results.
Let us give a big Thank You to PDG Bob Ferber who worked tirelessly to convince the LCIF Board that our need was significant to provide service to our communities.
Another great thank you goes to the Lions of District C6 for their generosity in collecting our portion of the matching funds.
Thank you to all in the spirit of Lionism.

I am personally inviting you to a very special celebration of the merger of the San Jose Host and San Jose East Valley Lions Clubs. we are now one and we are looking forward to a new and exciting future. With both clubs having long histories I know we will learn from our pasts and we look forward to the future with new projects, fundraisers and social events, however we want to keep many of the traditions both clubs have had. With change comes growth and we cannot grow without you.
We are looking forward to seeing old friends and for those of us who have not been in the Lions club for a long time, making new friends. I am looking forward to seeing you on August 1st at our celebration.
