Join the Lions for Hope team for the 6th year in a row to support City of Hope in putting an end to women’s cancers, having raised a total of over $50,000. We want to build a large team to raise as much money as we can. Please register your club today or select a team member to support.
Walk for Hope this year will be a “virtual walk,” meaning that it will take place in our own community on a date of our choosing. This also means that our fundraising efforts go toward actual research and not toward the expenses of organizing a walk.
So as the team captain for the Lions for Hope team I choose August 26 at 9:30 in Downtown San Jose for a leisurely 3-mile Guadalupe River walk, finishing at the Italian Festival where we can soothe our tired feet by stomping on grapes (yes, really) or playing bocce or listening to Italian music while eating a meatball sandwich and cannoli or tasting local wines. Free parking.
Raffle prizes include a chance at two tickets to Lion King!
Raffle tickets 3 for $15 or 5 for $20

This year the address is 3850 A Charter Park Drive. It is just a bit down the street from the one we used last year.
Please pass this on to the members that will be helping us and picking up backpacks.
For those who have ordered backpacks, we’ll be stuffing them on two separate
days: one in the South and one in the North. Southern backpack stuffing was done last Sunday at Prunedale Grange.
