PDG Ed Rittue passed away at 2:00 a.m. this morning! We have lost a special Lion and a very close friend! As soon as I get some information from Edie I will pass it on to the District.
Keep her in your prayers, as this has been very hard on her!

Summertime for most of us is fun time with good weather, nice outdoor activities with our families, and good food. For some unfortunate children, they don’t get their free school lunches provided by the public programs during the summer!
That is the reason why Second Harvest Food Bank has organized the “Share Your Lunch” program, a food drive for those children for summertime. Please support this program to feed those unfortunate children during Summertime!
I will be the food coordinator to collect food donations for Second Harvest Food Bank for the whole month of July 2012.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thank you for thinking about others!

Our 4-C6 Lions District has had a wonderful commitment to this 501 (c)(3)non-profit organization, one of our District projects, with almost 100% club memberships paid for the 2011-2012 Lions year. Congratulations to all of our clubs. Membership dues are coming up for the 2012-13 year. Thank you for those clubs who have already started this Lions year off by sending in their membership dues to this project that provides “Exceptional dogs for Exceptional people”. Please contact me if you would like to have an LPCCI presentation at your Lions club or in your community.
Also, here is an opportunity to support LPCCI and all you have to do is click LIKE on the Facebook page listed below. Again, friends, family, and Lions all over, thanks for your support of this wonderful program. Continue reading
