District Lions and the public is invited to attend the grand opening of a 200 foot path and picnic area constructed by the club in the Polo Grounds Park in Aptos March 15 11 a.m. Lions, friends, and businesses who donated to the project will attend. “This is the biggest project the club has done since the construction of the Cabrillo Community Center building in Aptos Village Park,” according to Pres. Jess Allen. From the Rio del Mar exit on Highway One, turn left and then right. In one block turn left. Go to the V and take the left road, which is Huntington Dr. About half a mile on the left is the entrance to the park and sports fields.
