District 4-C3 Sponsors One-Day Leadership Forum

The Lions of District 4-C3 are preparing a new style of one-day District Leadership Forum, based on the USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum model. Presenters include three Past International Presidents, four Past International Directors and four Past District Governors. District 4-C6 is well represented among the presenters, who include PDG Chris Morris, 1st VDG Liz Crooke, and PRC Hugh Donagher. Headliners include PIP Bill Biggs, PIP Kay Fukushima, and PIP Jimmy Ross. Visit the Forum website for more details. Become a fan of the Forum on Facebook for updates as they are announced.

The day kicks off at 7:00 a.m. with an all-you-can-eat breakfast. The Forum will include three General Plenary sessions and 20 Educational Workshops and will conclude at 5:30 p.m. All-you-can-eat lunch plus morning and afternoon snacks are all included in the early-bird registration fee of $70 per person. (Registration goes up to $90 after October 23rd).

This is a great opportunity to “be inspired by the best of the best,” and to learn from some of our top Lion Leaders. Optional dinners (at additional cost) on Friday and Saturday and an optional breakfast on Sunday morning extend those opportunities to network and learn from each other even further. All the details can be found on the Forum Flyer, and all the optional pricing can be found on the Registration Form. See you in Vallejo!

San Bruno Fire Update from District 4-C4

Greetings District 4-C6 Lions,

Please see below for an update from District 4-C4 …..

Hello all, just received some great news from LCIF.  Our District has been granted a $10,000.00 disaster relief grant.  That’s the great news, but as many of you know, there are many restrictions placed on how we can use the grant money. So if you can keep the donations coming, it will be helpful, will keep all of you updated.
Thank You!!!!!

Relief for District 4-C4 San Bruno Disaster

Greetings All…

I just got off the phone with the Governor from 4-C4.

At this point the basic needs are being filled by Red Cross, etc. He did suggest that we could donate financially to their Disaster Relief Fund and here is the information to do that:

Please send a check made out to District 4-C4 Disaster Relief Fund.

Mail it to:

Lion Steve Picchi
311 Filbert Street
Half Moon Bay, California    94019

He will be back in touch if there is anything else we can do. Keeping all in your prayers is not a bad idea either.
