“Talkin’ Tech” for Non-Techies @ San Martin Lions Hall

The District Tech Committee is pleased to announce a tech training
workshop on May 23rd. We’re calling it “Tech Talk for Non-Techies,” and
it will be an open forum to answer the questions you have about
technology. The Tech Committee (and other techies) will be on hand so
we can form ad-hoc small groups to address whatever problems you’re
encountering and answer the questions you have in areas like:

  • Using LCI’s new e-Club house.*
  • Adding Content to the District Web Site.
  • Using Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to promote your club.
  • Creating Gmail email account/address.
  • Creating PDF documents.
  • Whatever other questions you may have.

We’ll have three hours to work through these issues, and we’ll have
wireless Internet connectivity, so feel free to bring your laptop, if
you have one. We’ll have laptops there, too, so if you don’t have a
laptop, but you want to work on a specific problem that requires
logging in somewhere, bring your username and password and use one of
our laptops.

This will take place at San Martin Lions Hall from 9 a.m. to noon on May
23rd. Contact Lion Hugh Donagher with any questions.

*Click here to create a new E-Clubhouse before attending this workshop so we can best help you set up your new site. Allow one to two days for E-Clubhouse volunteers to review and process your application. Contact Lion Linda Pugliese with any questions.
