On Saturday, December 13th, the Sunnyvale Host Lions provided manpower for the second annual Breakfast with Santa at the Sunnyvale Senior Center. Six Lions manned the kitchen, pumping out pancakes, bacon, sausage, fruit, coffee and orange juice for the paying customers out front.

Several Lions in the District have had emails sent out on their behalf by Reunion.com, asking people to connect with them on that site. The Pasadena Host Lions Club invites all Lions to join them for their 15th annual Rose Parade Celebration Buffet Breakfast on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
International President Al Brandel will attend, and participants will be taken on a tour of Float Palace by docents, who will guide the up-close-and-personal VIP tour of over fifteen floats as they are being prepped for their trip down Colorado Boulevard the very next day.
