Successful LEAC Activity

An e-mail sent to First VDG Bob Stewart about a successful Lions Eyes Across California event held on March 18.
First Vice District Governor Bob,

Congratulations on your successful LEAC activity! You were smart to reach out to an “assembled” audience to spread the word of Lionism, especially as it relates to our primary mission. Thank you for sharing your District’s success story.

DG Jose,

Regarding Eyes Across California, this is to share a success.  The Lions of District 4-C6 set up a kiosk display in Monterey, CA this weekend at the Hyatt Hotel.  The annual convention of California public school nurses was underway.   Our Lions focused on Eyes Across California in requesting used eyes glasses.  District 4-C6 also showcased Spot Vision and the Lions Eye Foundation and offered services to the school districts.  To our delight several nurses at the convention are Lions, and they helped spread the word.
