Join the Carmel Host Lions Club and Mr. Bunny himself for a wonderful breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, orange juice, and coffee

$5.00 for children 12 years old and younger, $8.00 for adults,

and $23.00 for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children)

After Breakfast, visit “Bunnyland” for Fun and Entertainment, Face Painting, Picture with the Bunny, and Carnival Games hosted by Carmel Co-op PreSchool @ Carmelo 

A passport to Bunnyland can be purchased for $5.00 the day of the event and includes participation in all of the above activities except Breakfast.

Willow Glen Lions Valentine Wine Tasting Feb 5, 2016

Willow Glen Lions Club's 5th annual Valentine's Wine Tasting is a fun social event, as well as a chance to try great wines.Willow Glen Lions Club invites you to purchase tickets for their 5th annual Wine Tasting, which takes place Friday February 5th from 5 to 7 pm.  You’ll not only have a chance to enjoy some great wines — you’ll also partake in some of the best hors d’oeuvres, courtesy of WGLions’ amazing talent in the kitchen.

There will be a chance to win a gift basket, as well as a signed limited edition print of their amazing poster, designed by award-winning designer Carol Worthington-Levy.

The event takes place at Joseph George Fine Wines,
1559 Meridian, just north of Hamilton, in Willow Glen.

Check In: begins at 8:00 am, Warm-up 9 am

Start: 9:30 am 1 mile, 5K, 10K walk or run

We will not have free parking at SAP CENTER this year due to a conflict with the “Disney on Ice” event, but limited parking will be available for $5 per car.

CCI DogFest Walk’N Roll – REMINDER – for Saturday 10/10

Lions!! Come and observe. Take your dog on this walk on Saturday 10/10/15. No dog? Bring the kids and/or grandkids. Dogs and humans both need to socialize.

IPDG Karen Fillmore will have a table for Lions District 4C6 and needs volunteers to assist and to be Lions – supporters of CCI.

Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) is sponsoring DogFest Walk ’n Roll Silicon Valley on October 10th (10 am-1pm) at Memorial Park in Cupertino. See the 9/26/15 posting for details, background information and how to join Lions Clubs Silicon Valley 4C6.

CCI DogFest Walk’N Roll – Saturday October 10

Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) is sponsoring DogFest Walk ’n Roll Silicon Valley on October 10th (10 am-1pm) at Memorial Park in Cupertino.

DogFest Walk ‘n Roll events are being held in many locations across the U. S. to raise awareness of CCI’s mission to provide life-changing assistance dogs free of charge to people with disabilities and as a major CCI fund raising activity. DogFest is Canine Companions’ signature national event. It is a dog-friendly and family friendly walk and festival. It is open to the public and is free. Support the amazing work CCI does to provide highly-trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities.

The DogFest Walk ‘n Roll is an opportunity to be present with CCI graduates, CCI dogs, CCI volunteers, CCI supporters. Lions and friends can walk, walk with their dog, or just observe (the DogFest part is various dog oriented displays and vendors along with entertainment).

You can join the “Lions Clubs Silicon Valley 4C6” team just by making a donation (just a few clicks and you’re done!). The most fun is being present but you can support the fundraising by being a virtual walker or making a donation through the team.

2015 Lions Day at DYF’s Camp de los Ninos

Thanks to all of you who supported the Diabetes Camp Fundraiser for kids with Type 1 diabetes on May 30th. The event was very successful with over $25,000 raised for this year’s camp. Many thanks to all of the clubs who donated outstanding raffle baskets and to all of you who bid on the silent auction items. Without all of your support for coming and for those who helped either before or at the event, the event would not have been nearly as successful.

DYF is again hosting us at the Lions Day at Camp de los Ninos so you can see for yourself the camp in action of how our donations are being used. It is a day that you will always remember of how “We Serve” to help kids with Type 1 Diabetes learn how to successfully manage their lives.

DYF needs to know how many are coming by 8/7/15 and how many are staying for dinner. Please search for Eventbrite 2015 Lions Day at DYF’s Camp de los Ninos to sign up and purchase dinner tickets. Let me know if you want to car-pool from Denny’s on Hillsdale leaving at 1:30 pm.
