LIONS DAY AT DYF’S CAMP DE LOS NINOS

Please use this link to RSVP by copying this link https://goo.gl/JVdN8K

WEDNESDAY 8/17/16 10 AM – 1 PM

YMCA CAMP CAMPBELL

16275 HWY 9, BOULDER CREEK, CA 95006

Lions: Thanks to all of you who supported the Diabetes Camp Fundraiser for kids with Type 1 Diabetes on June 5, 2016.  The event was very successful with over $20,000 raised for this year’s scholarships for kids in need to attend camp.  Many thanks to all of the clubs who donated outstanding raffle baskets and to all of you who participated in the basket raffle and bid on the silent auction items.   Without all of your support for coming and for those who helped either before or at the event, the event would not have been nearly as successful.

DYF is again hosting us at the Lions Day at Camp de los Ninos so you can see for yourself the camp in action and how our donations are being used. It is a day that you will always remember of how “We Serve” to help kids with Type 1 Diabetes learn how to successfully manage their lives.

We will be able to see Lions John Kelly and Jim Thrall, who have volunteered as camp staff.  We will also see the fabulous swimming pool that Los Gatos Lions donates the funds to hire the lifeguards to enable the pool to be open. Plus those who want to can have lunch with the campers, an experience you do not want to miss!

DYF needs to know how many are coming by 8/12/16 and how many are staying for lunch.  Please  copy and paste this link:

https://goo.gl/JVdN8K  to sign up.  Let me know if you want to car-pool from Denny’s on Hillsdale leaving at 8:30 am on Wednesday 8/17/16.
