California Lions Foundation (CLF) is a great foundation for Lions Clubs in California. All donations to CLF will be provided back to the Lions Clubs of California as matching project grants or as restricted charity project funds. Please include CLF in your annual and year-end club donations. A CLF brochure is attached.
CLF matching financial grants will be available to clubs and districts to meet various needs and projects in their respective communities. The dollar range of CLF grants will be focused on projects from $500 to $10,000 which do not qualify for support from other Lions foundations. A CLF grant will also be able to be combined with a LCIF grant for larger projects.
As a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit corporation, CLF accepts tax deductible donations for approved charity projects of individual Lions Clubs. CLF then provides the designated donations back to the club for use of their approved project.
