Six days and counting until the Lions for Hope easy walk in downtown San Jose along the Guadalupe River Trail this year. Join us on August 26 at 9:00 at 333 W. Julian St. (across from Paesano’s). Parking is free. Click here for parking information.
Our walk is not part of the Italian Festival, but we will finish just before the Festa begins. We can join in the fun and soothe our tired feet by stomping on grapes (yes, really) or playing bocce or listening to Italian music while eating a meatball sandwich and cannoli or tasting local wines and enjoying the arts and crafts. Admission is free and the food and music is great!
Be part of the team along with Almaden Super, East Valley, Scales of Justice, Mission Trail, Sunnyvale Host, Japantown, North Valley Lions Clubs.
Click here to register your club even if you can’t do the walk. We will have until October to raise money for City of Hope for research and treatment programs for Women’s Cancers. Add your club’s donation to the $50,000 raised by Lions for Hope in the past five years and help us reach this year’s goal of $5,000.
Contact me for raffle tickets for a chance to win two orchestra seat tickets to Lion King at the Orpheum in San Francisco along with lots of other nice prizes. $5 each/5 for $20. 100% goes to City of Hope. Drawing in October. Need not be present to win.
