One Warm Coat and One Warm Heart at Cabinet Meeting

Written By: Linda Pugliese on February 11, 2012 at 3:41 pm

Getting coats from the closet to those in need involves a lot of people. Social service agencies across the country are the final step to sharing the warmth.  Please help Scales of Justice Lions by looking through your closet and taking your clean, gently used warm coat to the Cabinet Meeting for our One Warm Coat drive.  For you crafters out there, click here for easy directions to knit or crochet “Heartfelt Scarves” for One Warm Coat.

Coats and scarves will be donated to Sacred Heart Community Service for immediate distribution to those in need in our local community.  Scales of Justice Lions has collected over 50 warm coats.  We would like to see that number over 100.   Together, we are truly warming communities – and real people’s lives – one coat at a time.

If you don’t have a warm coat to give, Governor Liz is asking for a donation of  canned goods and other food items for local community shelters.
