Look for the signs

Blood is needed by accident and trauma victims, premature babies, and patients undergoing treatment for leukemia and many other life-threatening diseases.

Special benefits for donors:

Blood donors get the satisfaction of knowing they’ve helped to provide hope and life to a patient in a local hospital.  Each donor will also receive a coupon for a free pint of Baskin Robbins ice cream!   The entire whole blood donation only takes 5 to 10 minutes.

Blood donors must:

  1. Be at least 17 years of age
  2. Weigh at least 110 lbs.
  3. Be free of cold and flu symptoms (allergies okay as are most medications)
  4. Eat before donating and drink plenty of fluids
